Q: Where can I find more info on Elephant Road?

A: Guitarist and sometimes singer Imran Hussain has a detailed article about the origins of Elephant Road. You can also check out this article in Prothom Alo, a prominent Bangla newspaper.

Furthermore, you should also check out the Amadergaan forums, which are an awesome place to discuss Elephant Road, Bangladeshi rock music or just hang out with friends.

Q: Why Elephant Road?

A: Eight years ago, a bunch of super-talented Bangladeshi musicians started a band in Minnesota. They named the band Elephant Road for reasons obvious to Bangladeshi musicians of that generation-- Elephant Road was (and is) the street with Rainbow, Rhtyhm and Shoor Bichitra, the famous CD piracy stores, and most of the important music labels. Geetali still has an office there, and G-Series, today's most important label for Bangladeshi rock music, is within a block of Rainbow.

Q: Why are you making this site?

A: MP3.com is down and I don't have a girlfriend. So I figured, why not?

Q: What are Elephant Road's plans for the future?

A: THE ALBUM IS OUT AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR NAKED CHICKS!!!!!!

Q: Won't you get your ass kicked for being so candid about MP3 piracy? Isn't it a serious issue with the RIAA cracking down on everybody and their third cousin Lailaboti?

A: Probably.
